BreakwaterPartner brief, October 2026

We run token launches on data.

Breakwater studies what happens to new tokens, then designs each launch to hold up after day one.

A breakwater from above: rough sea on one side, calm water on the other

What 54 fast tokens did next.

Since July, 54 new tokens reached $20M within a week of launch. We tracked every one of them, followed 12 hour by hour from a month before launch to a week after, and checked 51,770 launches that paid holders in tokenized stocks.

  • 25lost 80% or more from their peak
  • 14lost between half and 80%
  • 14are still worth half their peak or more

Each square is one token. Prices as of 29 September 2026. One token had no current price.

Being first matters.

Chance that a token paying holders in a stock reached $1M, by how many tokens had already used that stock.

78

tokens copied the idea of paying holders in SpaceX shares within a week of the original's Binance listing. None of them closed a single day above $1M.

$2.8M

paid by ZCAT to its holders in ZEC in its first weeks. Holders stay when they are paid in something they already want.

66% to 98%

is how far the tokens with only attention behind them have fallen. The ones that held had an exchange listing or locked supply behind them.

What we built from it.

Each part of a launch answers one thing the data showed.

We sawCopies fail. The first token on a new asset wins.

The hook

We launch on a payout asset the day it first becomes available.

We sawHolders stay when they are paid.

The payout

A small trading tax buys that asset and pays it to holders. It steps down and switches off for good on a set date.

We sawFast tokens give most of it back.

Rewarding holders who stay

Half of each payout lands every hour. The other half unlocks over 3 days, and anyone who sells early gives it up to the holders who stayed.

We sawThe payout counter was the post that spread.

A public record

One page shows what was paid, to whom and when. Anyone can check it on-chain.

We sawAttention fades within a week.

The second move

More liquidity, listings and a fresh catalyst, booked before launch and released in the second week.

We launch on Solana first and Robinhood Chain second, with a setup ready for whichever chain is busiest.

A launch has two halves.

Built

The science

Everything above: the data, the strategy and the systems that run it. We build and run it ourselves, and we watch every launch live.

Built with you

The art

  • The right people seeing the launch
  • Real buyers ready on day one
  • Marketing that reaches the right crowd
  • The right person or trend for the second move, at the right time

A launch can get the science right and still fail without the art. We have not run the art yet. It is the half we build with you.

How we work together.

Nucleus core team Business development Marketmakers Collaborators Marketingand reach

The nucleus is a small core team. It owns the strategy, the systems and the launch decision.

The orbit is our partners: business development, marketing, collaborators and market makers. They bring projects, reach, liquidity and listings, and plug into each launch where needed.

We own

  • The launch plan
  • The systems and the public record
  • Watching the launch live
  • When the second move goes out
  • The final go or not-yet decision

Partners own

  • Introductions to projects
  • Reach: channels, voices, audiences
  • Liquidity, set to the plan
  • Listings and exchange relationships
  • Their part, delivered on the agreed day

How a launch moves.

  1. Read

We study the project, the market and the timing. The answer can be “not yet”.

  2. Plan

One written plan: structure, dates, liquidity, story and who does what.

  3. Prepare

Liquidity set, buyers ready, story out, second move booked.

  4. Launch

Trading opens, payouts start, the public record goes live.

  5. Second move

Released when the data says the first wave is fading.

What we ask of partners.

Deliver on the day.

Launches are timed to the hour.

Real numbers only.

No fake volume, no inflated reach, nothing we cannot check.

One written plan.

Changes are written down and shared with everyone.

The launch decision is ours.

Your advice matters. The call and the responsibility sit with us.

Why Breakwater

A breakwater is the wall that keeps a harbour calm when the sea is rough. That is the job: build the structure that keeps a launch steady after day one.
